Convenient Care

Convenient Care

Although we moved our main hospital to Streeterville, we have kept a number of our outpatient services at the Clark/Deming building and recently opened up a Convenient Care program. This program provides same-day medical treatment for children with extended hours and walk-in service.

Convenient Care is by no means a replacement for pediatric primary care. The best way to think about Convenient Care is to look at it like an after-hours pediatrician service. Families and caregivers should still arrange regular check-ups with their primary pediatrician.

Convenient Care is open Monday through Friday, 4 to 10 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays, noon to 6 p.m.  All tests, x-rays, and exams at Convenient Care are done by on-staff pediatricians and pediatric nurses to guarantee the best results for the children.

Convenient Care provides treatment for non-emergencies and non-life-threatening injures such as allergies, minor bumps and bruises, ear infections and mild to moderate asthma attacks, broken bones but not pierced.
