Fun fact: We average 15,000 elevator rides each day.
Everyone talks about the kid-friendly things to do on every floor of Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. But what about when you’re traveling between floors?
Wait, what’s that you say? The elevators are fun too?!
That’s right, each elevator is designed with colorful artwork and interactive buttons that create different sounds (i.e. a car horn) when pushed. The buttons are the perfect distraction for little ones with an innate desire to push EVERY button they see in an elevator, which also helps to ensure that the adults won’t have to stop on every floor between 2 and 11.
